Work our engineers
have already shipped.

Real engagements, with real numbers. Client names are withheld because these firms have not given permission to be named — the work and the figures are exactly as delivered.

Rescue

An inherited Aderant integration, taken to production

The situation

An enterprise integration between Salesforce and Aderant arrived part-built and unreliable, inherited from a team that had moved on. The usual instinct in that position is to tear it out and start again, which is expensive and throws away work that is often sound underneath.

The work

Code review and root-cause analysis first, to establish what was actually there and what was salvageable. Then remediation of what could be kept, new builds for what could not, and the deployment work to get it into production.

The outcome

More than 480,000 records synced with zero sync failures at handover.

Data integrity

A 32% record-mislink rate, cut to zero

The situation

Client systems were mislinking records at a rate of 32 percent, losing records silently, and running jobs that failed without anyone being told. Problems of this kind are corrosive precisely because nothing announces them — the data is wrong for months before anyone notices.

The work

Root-cause analysis across the affected systems, then remediation of the underlying data model rather than the symptoms. Monitoring and alerting added afterwards, so that future failures surface instead of accumulating quietly.

The outcome

Mislink rate reduced from 32% to zero, with silent record loss and hidden job failures eliminated and instrumented against.

Trust accounting

Contingency billing and IOLTA for a litigation firm

The situation

A litigation firm needed client funds, fee splits and disbursement handled inside its system rather than in a spreadsheet maintained beside it. Trust accounting is the part of legal finance that firms are most exposed on and that generic implementations most often get wrong.

The work

Designed and built a contingency billing and IOLTA trust-accounting solution on Accounting Seed, covering the full cycle from settlement through to client payout.

The outcome

Settlement to payout handled end to end inside the system, with the ledger and the matter in one place.

Migration

75,000 legacy records moved between Salesforce orgs

The situation

Records had to move between Salesforce orgs without downtime and without anyone having to take the result on faith. Migration is where implementations quietly lose the confidence of the staff who have to use them.

The work

A repeatable, rollback-safe migration process — so the run could be rehearsed, verified, and reversed if it needed to be, rather than being a single irreversible event.

The outcome

Approximately 75,000 records migrated with zero failures.

Build

Invoicing, document generation and custom tooling

The situation

Firms and finance teams regularly need the parts an off-the-shelf platform leaves out — the invoice that matches how they actually bill, the document that assembles itself, the screen built for the person who uses it forty times a day.

The work

QuickBooks invoicing, document generation and custom Lightning Web Component tools delivered to production, plus a commission-accounting system for a financial-services client. Custom Litify and Accounting Seed features where the platforms stop short.

The outcome

Delivered to production, with the firm's own staff operating them.

Whose work this is.

The engagements above were delivered by our engineers, working for the firms concerned. They are a statement about what this team has built and the numbers it has produced — not a claim that each client contracted with Edge Solutions. Where a platform or vendor is named — Aderant, Accounting Seed, Litify, CaseCloud, QuickBooks, Mitratech, iManage — it is named because our engineers worked directly with it.

We would rather be precise about that than let the ambiguity do work for us. The engineering is the same either way.
